The United Students Society (under the auspices of the Department of North American Literature and Culture, University of Łódź) and the queer studies club IQARUS (Interdisciplinary Queer Academic Research of United Students) invite you to participate in USS’s 12th student conference: Queer Communities: Collectivity, Gender and Sexuality in North American Literature and Culture (Saturday, 25 May 2024, the Faculty of Philology, University of Łódź). Our confirmed keynote speaker is prof. Tomasz Basiuk (American Studies Center, University of Warsaw). We invite doctoral candidates as well as undergraduate and graduate students to submit abstracts related to the conference theme as represented in US American and Canadian literature and culture. Please send an abstract of 150-200 words to the following address: queercommunities2024@gmail.com.
